  10. The 960219 snapshot of the Amiga Developers Environment is now available
  11. for ftp from ftp.ninemoons.com:pub/ade/960219.  See the README file in the
  12. pub/ade directory for more information about the ADE.

  14. The complete ftp distribution is approximately 200 Mb (compressed), which
  15. includes original baseline sources, amiga sources, and diff files.
  16.  
  17. When unarchived, the binary tree is approximately 125 Mb, if you install
  18. everything.  The source and baseline trees are approximately 600 Mb each
  19. when unarchived.

  21. For the convenience of those who do not have access to a fast ftp link or
  22. do not want to bother with downloading 200 Mb of files, the snapshot is
  23. available on a custom (CD-Recordable) CD-ROM.  These copies cost $50 U.S.
  24. plus shipping and handling ($3.95 U.S. or $5 international).  The Cronus
  25. part number for this CD-ROM is ADE-960219.  Orders can be emailed to
  26. "orders@ninemoons.com".

  28. Note that the CD-ROM contains not only the 200 Mb of files that are
  29. available via ftp, but a complete unarchived binary tree so that the tools
  30. can be run directly from the CD-ROM if desired.  The CD-ROM also contains
  31. the Commodore include files integrated into the appropriate place in the
  32. binary tree.  These files are *not* available in the ftp version because
  33. our license to distribute them applies only to CD-ROM distributions.

  35. Since the last snapshot, I have many submitted changes that have been put
  36. on hold pending this release.  I will now start installing them in the
  37. master source tree and testing them.  I will also start updating many of
  38. the utilities which haven't been updated since the 951208 snapshot.
